SW PORTLAND HOME
A Fresh Take
on Tradition
This 1938 SW Portland home's small hall bathroom was ready for a transformation. The goal was to modernize the space while preserving its classic charm in a playful, approachable way. Though the room's size didn't change, clever design solutions improved its function. A new ledge behind the vanity, doubling as a windowsill, brings cohesion to the space, while the updated shower, glass door, and extended wainscoting create an airy feel, making the bathroom appear larger than before.
